Cycle annuel de formations en sécurité de laboratoire – 21, 22 et 23 février 2024 - Annual laboratory safety training cycle – February 21, 22 and 23, 2024
Ces Formation couvrent les 3 domaines majeurs de risques en laboratoire : (1) Le risque chimique et toxicologique (2) Le risque radiatif (utilisation de sources radioactives scellées, non scellées, d’appareil émetteurs de rayons X, de l’accélérateur de particules du LARN) (3) Le risque biologique pour l’utilisateur/l’environnement (utilisations confinées d’organismes pathogènes et/ou génétiquement modifiés) -------------------------------------------------- These training courses cover the 3 major areas of laboratory risks: (1) Chemical and toxicological risk (2) Radiative risk (use of sealed and unsealed radioactive sources, X-ray emitting devices, the LARN particle accelerator) (3) Biological risk for the user/environment (contained uses of pathogenic and/or genetically modified organisms)

Les formations sont obligatoires pour :
· tous les étudiants de master des Facultés de Médecine et de Science commençant leur travail de mémoire en ce mois de février 2024.
· tous les stagiaires visiteurs (incluant des scientifiques en séjour de recherche dans nos laboratoires), arrivés à l’UNamur après le 17 février 2023
· tous les nouveaux membres de personnel de laboratoire (incluant des étudiants en thèse) , arrivés à l’UNamur après le 17 février 2023
La participation à chaque formation conduit à la délivrance d’un certificat, aprèsbréussite d’un test de compréhension en ligne.
La participation aux 3 formations conduit à la délivrance d’un certificatde ‘Formation en Sécurité en Laboratoire’ précisant l’investissement horaire de 15 h et le contenu de chaque formation.
Les supports des formations et les tests de compréhension (en Français et en Anglais) sont disponibles sur la plateforme TICE
A l'exception de la formation 'Radioprotection ALTAIS', toutes les formations se donnent en ligne (sur ‘Teams’) – Voir horaire et données d’accès ci-dessous.
Toutes les formations sont accessibles à toute personne intéressée.

Laboratory safety training are obligatory for:
· all master's students from the Faculties of Medicine and Science starting their dissertation work in February 2024.
· all visiting trainees (including scientists on research stays in our laboratories), arriving at UNamur after February 17, 2023
· all new members of laboratory staff (including thesis students), arriving at UNamur after February 17, 2023
Participation in each training course leads to the issuance of a certificate, upon successful completion of an online comprehension test.
Participation in the 3 training courses leads to the issuance of a 'Laboratory Safety Training' certificate specifying the hourly investment of 15 hours and the content of each training course.
Training materials and comprehension tests (in French and English) are available on the TICE platform
With the exception of the module ‘Radiation Protection ALTAIS’, all training is given online (on ‘Teams’) – See schedule and access details below.
All training is accessible to anyone interested.
