Conférence "Non-innocent Bifunctional Ligands for New Avenues in Pd and Au Chemistry"
Date : 06/11/2019 17:00 - 06/11/2019 18:00
Lieu : Room CH22 | Chemistry department
Orateur(s) : Dr. Didier BOURISSOU | Université de Toulouse
Organisateur(s) : Guillaume Berionni
Over the last few years, the group of Dr. Didier Bourissou has been developing new polyfunctional ligands for transition metals. They are interested in original coordination modes (such as the coordination of Lewis acids as acceptor ligands) and metal / ligand cooperativity, as well as new reactivity patterns.
The following projects will be discussed in this lecture:
- The in-plane coordination of cyclopentadienyl-type rings, which opens the way for cooperative catalysis,
- Phosphine-borane ambiphilic ligands and cooperativity between Pd / Au and borane moieties,
- The design of suitable ligands to impart transition metal reactivity to gold and achieve 2e redox catalysis.
