Why doesn't a perfectly loving and powerful God prevent genuine evil? The usual answers to this question make little sense. Some give up offering any solution at all. In this lecture, Dr. Thomas Jay Oord solves the problem. He does so by offering a new view of God's power he believes aligns well with reason, experience, and the broad biblical witness. Oord is the author of the best-selling book, God Can't: How to Believe in God and Love after Tragedy Abuse and Other Evils.
