2019 annual CHIM meeting & From atomistic to subatomistic computational simulations

This two-day conference is organized in the joined frame of the activities of the CHIM doctorate school and of the Namur Institute of Structured Matter (NISM).

The first day is a CHIM-like one-day meeting with combined presentations by PhD students of the Universities of the Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles as well as of experts from different domains of Chemistry.

The second day is devoted to celebrating Prof. Daniel VERCAUTEREN, who recently turned out Emeritus Professor, and is entitled « From atomistic to subatomistic computational simulations ». The floor will be given to his past and present collaborators as well as to young researchers. It will also be a beautiful occasion to celebrate him and to gather his collaborators since the beginning of his career.
