DESCRIPTION
In 1948, the Commission for Educational Exchange between the United States of America, Belgium and Luxembourg was established with the goal of increasing mutual understanding through academic exchange between citizens of Belgium and Luxembourg and citizens of the United States. Over the past seven decades, the Fulbright Commission in Brussels has facilitated the academic exchange of thousands of students, researchers, teaching assistants, and professors between the United States of America and Belgium.
Fulbright awards grants to Belgian and Luxembourgish citizens to study, research, or lecture at an accredited U.S. institution for a period between three months and one academic year.
